so i got home yesterday afternoon and i’ve never been happier to snuggle in my own bed. you never realize how comfortable home is until you leave it. my next 8-10 posts will be my days in europe, even though i’m home, since internet in europe wasn’t the best.
Day 2: Rome, Italy
on my second day in italy i went to vatican city. the line was damn long for the vatican museum but not so bad for st. peter’s cathedral. and sadly, as expected, no surprise visits from the pope. i was hoping we’d become the best of friends. :( isn’t the architecture just gorgeous? europe always amazes me with all the detailing and hardwork that went into these buildings.

i’m moving into college tonight and i’m so super excited. i get to see some of my favorite people in the world. the one thing i’m nervous about is seeing my ex-boyfriend again. he’s moving in on sunday and we’re living on the same floor, same building. isn’t life great sometimes?
i’ll finish this entry with an illegal picture i captured of the sistine chapel ceiling (thank you mr. michelangelo):
gorgeous, no? until next time.
love, jen
